Some Tips – Make Money Writing

By Bob On January 31, 2010 Under Affiliate Topics, Internet Mktg, Monetization Strategies, ProBlogging Tips, REVIEWS, Search Engine Optimization, Social Media

There is nothing more annoying to a reader of an online article, than when there is no fluidity or easy flow, to the writing style. In extreme cases, this manner of writing articles can put off visitors to your webpage, never to return. This then becomes a lost marketing opportunity which could result in a potential loss of revenue.

Persuade Openly and Honestly.

The internet is full of articles promising obviously unlikely things and people lying their faces off just to get web browsers to click a link or push a button. People are not that stupid anymore. Even niches of society that are normally susceptible to these blatant attempts at manipulation have gotten much savvier about what they are doing online. You have to gently guide your reader towards where you want them to go by offering believable and achievable promises.

The human mind becomes bored very quickly, and to maintain the attention of readers when writing articles, you need to at least keep the following in mind;

* Use a good title

A compelling and attention grabbing title should be used in the same way as you see it applied in the printed media like newspapers. I am sure that you once had an experience of never intending to buy a newspaper on a particular day. Due to the compelling headlines however, you decided to do so and see what the fuzz and detail was all about.

* Use a few subtitles

Subtitles flesh out a little more than the main title, and their purpose is to entice the reader even further, without giving away the whole story. Imagine the subtitle to be like the index of a book as opposed to the cover and title on the outside.

End your article with an invitation for the reader to discover more information or preview a specific product. Be very honest with what you are trying to sell them and with the specific ways that you beleive the product can help them.

Don’t go crazy with hyperbole. If they are looking up a specific keyword than chances are they are interested in making a purchase; you don’t need to hard sell them on something.
