Find some great use with PLR articles

Many people think when they are looking to build up links to their site that they have to write every article by hand and it needs to be original. With a website like Ezine or Qondio, or even Associated Content you will need to make sure you only submit original articles which are written by you. One aspect often overlooked is the huge variety or PLR articles available to jump start your writing. The abbreviation PLR stands for private label rights, and the rights allow you to rewrite or republish them as you need to.

Sources of PLR are all over the internet – some you can buy, some you can download, and some are given away as a bonus for other software you might purchase. Now, most of these will do you no good to just publish as is. They may have been utilized by thousands of other writers looking to get links to their site. Sometimes, they have never been used.  The ones that have very little use or never been used are great for rewriting andsubmission to an article directory.

What I usually do is to take the 2 sentences of the article and one at a time, paste them into Google and search, with quotes around the sentence so it has to be an exact match. If nothing comes up – Bingo! you now have something you can use with no rewriting, Google has no record of that article. Should a lot of results come back, you will need to make sure you do a good job of rewriting.  If too many come up, do not use that article and move on. The best thing is to rewrite each sentence one by one so you have a totally unique article based off the PLR article. Even if you have to rewrite, its way faster most of the time than creating an entirely new article, unless you happen to be an expert on the topic of the article. If that was the case, you probably would not need PLR articles.

Where the use of PLR articles is most handy, is in the creation of niche sites, such as fly fishing, composting, glass blowing or other topic which interests you, but you are by no means an expert or may know nothing about. Someone else has given you a jump start with an article which you can insert your link into and publish, whether it needs to be rewritten or not. These types of articles are usually best published to secondary article directory sites, such as those powered by article friendly or article directory scripts. Article Friendly is a widely distributed article directory script that many people have purchased to run an article directory on their websites, they are easy to open an account at, and when you publish its live most of the time right away.

You will want to have a variety of account names and many different AF sites using various emails so that your publication of articles is mixed up and it does not look like the same person is publishing all the same articles on the same general topic. It takes a bit of time in the beginning to get the accounts set up, but there are tools that can help automate the process. That is beyond the scope of this article, but I will write about that soon.
